Law Student Housing
The Office of Residence Life and Housing has overseen law student housing since 2018. Students living in on-campus law residential areas can access all University services more efficiently.
Housing for law students is only available during the fall and spring academic semesters.
2026-2027 Housing Selection/Application Timeline
- 4/1 - 4/14: Returning Law Students may apply to return to Law Student Housing.
- 4/12: $300 Housing Deposit due for Returning Law Students. Payment must be received and processed by the Bursar's Office by 5 PM.
- 5/1 - 6/7: New/Entering Law Student may apply for Law Student Housing.
Returning Law students will be notified of their housing assignment by May 15. New/Entering Law students will be notified of their housing assignments by July 1.
Please note: Student returning to Law Housing will have the ability to provide a preference for their housing assignment. Due to the limited housing capacity, priority will be given to international exchange students for New/Entering Student Housing. Further assignments will be based on the application date. Assignments for Law Students entering on-campus housing will be made based on available space(s), with priority based on date of application. As with all housing options, there is no guarantee we can meet preferences, as availability varies.

Meal Plans
All students residing in law residence halls are required to purchase the Spider 50 meal plan and may upgrade to the Spider Unlimited option if desired.
Move-In and Check-in Information
Law students may move in on Sunday, August 16, 2026.
Check-in will occur between 9 AM and 4 PM on the first floor of Tyler Haynes Commons (Building 270 on the campus map). All students must check in to gain access to their residence. Arrivals after 4 PM must go to URPD.

Law students are housed in Atlantic House and Pacific House.
