Prohibited Items

Please do not bring the following items as they will be confiscated. Students may also be subject fines as outlined in the Fire Safety policy.

• Any Halogen lamp with bulbs rated over 100 watts
• Ceiling fans
• Air conditioners of any type including inside floor models. All residence halls are air-conditioned.
• Space heaters
• Hot plates, crock pots, rice pots
• George Foreman Grills
• Toasters, toaster ovens or any open/visible coil electrical equipment of any type
• Fuel burning lamps
• Candles and incense
• Cinder blocks or bed risers
