    Jacob Lowman is the Coordinator for Residence Life and Housing and has been working at UR since 2022. Jacob collaborates with students, staff, and campus partners to foster inclusive, supportive, and meaningful residential communities through Housing Operations, including, but not limited to, room assignments, room change requests, and applications. Additionally, Jacob uses data, feedback, and expertise with systems like StarRez to improve operations, streamline processes, and strengthen student support across campus housing. In addition to these roles, Jacob instructs WELL 100, serves as an Academic Advisor, and is a Student Conduct Officer.

    He is a double graduate from Western Carolina University, earning a B.S. in Chemistry and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Student Affairs, gaining experience in Academic Advising, Honors Programs, Student Leadership, Disability Services, and Athletics.

    Outside of Campus Life, Jacob plays and captains various team sports throughout the week, including dodgeball, kickball, indoor volleyball, and sand volleyball. He also enjoys outdoor recreation (specifically hiking, backpacking, and camping), mindfulness activities, listening to podcasts, and thrifting.
