End of Fall Semester Information/Winter Break Information:

All on-campus residential areas will close on Sunday, November 22 at 5pm.  More specifically, plans for end of the fall term are as follows:

  • In-person classes will conclude on Saturday, November 21.
  • Students will move out of campus housing following their last in-person class in order to return home prior to Thanksgiving.

If you would like to get tested before leaving campus, the Virginia Department of Health has a list of testing sites.  Please take into consideration that you would need to have a test back in time for you to leave campus no later than 5 pm on Sunday, November 22nd, and plan accordingly.

All students approved to be on campus are held to the terms and conditions of the housing contract, housing addendum, and all policies as outlined in the student handbook, and interim policies related to COVID.

Spring Housing Application and Information

Students who wish to be housed on campus in Spring 2021 should fully complete the Spring Application in the red bar in the StarRez Portal by November 1.

New first-year students are guaranteed on-campus housing and will receive information on their housing assignment by November 13 to their University of Richmond email address.  First-years will be housed in first year residential areas as space allows.

Returning students will be able to submit preferences for location and a roommate.  Returning students will receive their assignment information by November 20, as space allows since housing for returning students is not guaranteed.  Housing assignments for all returning students will be completed by lottery based on class year.
